Our story and that of the house
The House
The house was built at the end of the 19th century. It had the function of hospital during the great war. It then became the village pharmacy. In the 1960s the Cazauvieilh family bought this house. It is a family of sylviculturists recognized in the village, moreover the primary school of Salles bears his name ... This house at the time was able to welcome a large number of villagers for festive meals because this family loved the sharing, friendliness and knew how to receive.

When the last owner died in 2017, his heirs decided to sell this family house, hoping to find a buyer who will know how to keep its values and traditions alive.

When we first visited this house we fell in love with it and its history. It is with great honor that we were chosen by the heirs to acquire this residence because our guest house project pleased them. A child from the Sallois region was going to live there again and keep the traditions alive.

Fanny and Olivier have therefore been the proud owners of this magnificent residence since the end of 2019. Our plan to buy an old house steeped in history to turn it into a guest house dates back several years. I, Fanny, have always dreamed of hosting. Passionate about decoration and cooking, this professional future took shape ten years ago. This is why I decided in 2014 to quit my sales job to take a CAP cooking. So in the years that followed, I worked in catering to train and learn while waiting to find "The house" to carry out my project. It is now done and I am very proud of the road traveled to get there. Hoping to have made the right choices for the future of our family because it is from the beginning that Olivier has supported me and dreams of this project with me. It is with all our efforts, our skills, our will and our respective families that we are where we are now. I would therefore particularly like to thank him and our daughter Romy, without them, without their strength, mine would surely have failed ... Our house was born from this strength and from this family: Farol.
